The world's highest mountain by the South Col route from Nepal

Testimonials

"The Jagged Globe method ‘works’. With multiple rotations of the mountain before our summit attempt, the team was ready to tackle camp 3 without oxygen and then climb higher to camp 4 in some comfort. We had to remain there for an extra day to wait for better conditions, but again we were able to cope with this and still have 100% success the next night, with the whole team topping out after dawn and before the crowds arrived." - Roland Thomas, Summiteer 22 May 2019

"I had the pleasure of climbing with Pem on Everest in 2022. Not only is he incredibly experienced (IFMGA guide, 16 summits of both Everest and Ama Dablam, 29 summits of 8000ers including the first ascent of K2 in Winter), he took incredible care of both myself and the wider team throughout our expedition. Despite his legendary status as a high altitude mountaineer, he remains one of the humblest and most gracious guys you could ever meet. If you want a safe pair of hands to lead you in Nepal, there is no one better than Pemchirri Sherpa. I would not hesitate to climb with him again." - David Brock, Summiteer 15 May 2022

Jagged Globe plans and leads expeditions to Everest each spring. We offer climbers an expertly-led expedition, with a high-level of support and plentiful supplies of oxygen. Contact us for a copy of our Everest PDF.

Our "One Team" ethos:

  • Jagged Globe Expedition leader.
  • Lead climbing guide: Pem Chirri Sherpa (IFMGA).
  • Lhotse Extension available.
  • Contact us for a copy of our Everest PDF.

Share this on Facebook We can organise this expedition on a ‘tailor-made’ private basis for groups of friends, families, clubs, charities or any other group. Depending on your mountaineering experience, you may want a Jagged Globe leader or go ‘self-led’ with the assistance of local guides. The cost of going private can be surprisingly reasonable, particularly if you take the self-led option. Please contact us to discuss the itinerary and your preferred dates. We will then send you a quote, with no obligation.

Experience Required

To join the Everest team your extensive mountaineering experience should include previous high-altitude experience of at least 6,000 metres, combined with a plenty of Alpine mountaineering experience and preferably, you will have taken part in a previous 8,000m expedition. To read the full experience requirements for this expedition, please download the Everest PDF. Or, for an overview of how you might build up to Everest over a number of years, download our 'Steps to Everest' PDF here [508KB].
