Simon came to Jagged Globe in 1995, following a successful career in the British Army, during which he led and took part in many high-altitude climbing expeditions, ranging across the Americas, Africa and the Greater Himalaya. He has been to Everest three times, including leadership of our successful 1996 expedition, which climbed the North Ridge and has so far organised a total of twenty expeditions to the mountain. Simon has also led numerous other Jagged Globe expeditions to peaks worldwide. He is a passionate skier and can be found in the Alps every winter 'test-riding' new venues for our growing ski courses and tours.
Tom joined Jagged Globe in 1999 and is responsible for developing our range of climbing, trekking and skiing trips. He is an experienced, all-round climber with first ascents in the UK, Canada and Greenland. Tom is no slouch having led Scottish V, E9, F8b and bouldered Font 8a. He has travelled and climbed in the Himalaya, Alaska, Argentina and Africa and is also a keen mountain/fell runner.
Rosie joined Jagged Globe in 2015 after completing her Physical Geography degree at the University of Sheffield, which allowed her to pursue her interest in mountainous regions and glaciation. Rosie will help you explore the mountains by answering your calls and emails, booking your flights and liaising with our agents. She has spent many summers hiking in mountains across Europe and through North American National Parks. With Jagged Globe she has trekked in Nepal, completed a Polar Expedition Training course in Norway and travelled to Colombia to get a greater insight into the areas where we run some of our trips.
Mountaineering Instructor and Head of Operations, Ed has a long history with Jagged Globe, since 2001, when he led an expedition for us to Mera Peak in Nepal. In 2002 he joined our Scottish Winter Courses Instructor team, later becoming our Course Director in Scotland. Since then Ed has led numerous expeditions for us, as well as pursuing his personal climbing ambitions, with ice climbing trips to Norway and expeditions to Peru and India. Ed joined the Jagged Globe staff full-time in 2015 and continues to lead expeditions each year.
Natalie joined Jagged Globe full time in 2005. She has climbed Kilimanjaro, summited Stok Kangri, taken part in our Alpine Courses, visited Patagonia (Fitzroy and Paine), completed a reconnaissance in Russia and trekked around Manaslu in Nepal. Natalie is a key member of our operations team managing our hotel and Alpine hut bookings. She also works closely with our Alpine Guides and is famous for her meticulous attention to detail.
Pauline has been our accountant since 2004. She has trekked in Bolivia and India and has even been known to tie into a rope every now and then for a spot of rock climbing! She is a keen runner, always placing high in her category in local 10Km and Half Marathon events.
Becky joined the team in August 2022 and supports Rosie in Customer Support. She has a background in Customer Service and will help you with your enquiry, your booking and any admin relating to your trip.

Dr David Hillebrandt - Company Doctor
Dr David Hillebrandt is Jagged Globe's Medical Advisor. An active mountaineer based in North Devon, David combines his professional expertise with a passion for climbing in remote locations, so he is familiar with the medical issues that team members face. For example, he advises climbers and trekkers about the effects of altitude on known medical conditions. He also instructs our leaders and guides in aspects of remote-area medicine, making a valuable contribution to their effectiveness in the field.Rebecca Riley - Customer Support Assistant
