North Pole - Last Degree - FREE Finse training course

b>If you book before 1 December 2012 for a 2013 The North Pole - The Last Degree expedition, you are eligible to join our 6-day Finse training course in March free of charge (price £1,700).

Our 2013 North Pole expeditions will be led by English-speaking British and Norwegian leaders, who have many Polar expeditions under their belts. To join the main expedition, you need to be fit and to have completed our Finse Polar Training course (details available on request). The full cost of our 15-day North Pole - Last Degree expedition is £29,995 from the UK. The 6-day Finse training course takes places 6-11 March and includes; instruction from your Polar guide, 1 night in a 1-3 bed room at DNT Finse hut, 4 nights in a tent and all meals included from Thursday breakfast to Monday breakfast, tents, stoves, sledges, shovels, emergency communications, skis, boots, ski poles. It does not include travel to Finse, Norway. Please note that the final balance for the North Pole - Last Degree expedition is due before Finse. If you are in any doubt of your ability to do the North Pole, we recommend that you join a training course a year in advance.
