Jim Blyth checks in from Antarctica

Jim Blyth and Jim Kerr are currently on the Antarctic Peninsula with a team of ski mountaineers. Jim sent this message from their yacht, 'Icebird' today:

"All is well. The weather has been good on the whole, but the snowpack is poor. Everyone is having fun and we've seen lots of wildlife. We've done ascents/descents of several peaks, including some first ascents. Yesterday we made the first ascent and descent of Peak Perez (650m). Best wishes from Antarctica!"

Our next ski trip 'down south' will be to South Georgia in October/November 2014. Get in touch if you are interested in joining Jim on what is guaranteed to be a unique adventure.
